He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl Frank Steinhardt and Doris Alzina Steinhardt (Sibley); his spouse Nguyen Thi Thinh; his daughters, Sarah and Dr. Angela A. Steinhardt, MD; and his grandchildren, Jolie Aimee Sobieski, Jacqueline Nguyen Sobieski, Jonathan Edward Sobieski Jr. and Joel Steinhardt Sobieski.
