It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Harris Wayne Kretzmeier of West Lafayette, Indiana, born in Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on March 6, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John F. Kretzmeier and Esther Keith Kretzmeier; and his brothers, Erwin and Phil Kretzmeier. He is survived by : his children, John Kretzmeier (Kristi) of Fowler, IN, Bryan Kretzmeier (Debby) of Franklin, TN, Keith Kretzmeier (Jenny) of Ooltewah, TN and Pam Cobb (Aaron) of Otterbein, IN; his grandchildren, Kenzie House (Ross), Clay Kretzmeier, Carson Kretzmeier, Christian Kretzmeier, Lindsey Yow, Grant Kretzmeier (Shelby), Grace Kretzmeier, Ayren Certa (Stefan), Lilly Cobb and Sophie Cobb; and his great grandchildren, Geo Certa and Vaughn House.

“My girls and I will always miss Harris. He was generous of humor and kindness to my daughters, Katherine and Jacqueline, and they always considered him "Grandpa Harris". He and Mom opened their beautiful Siesta Key homes to my family for many vacations. We cherish fun memories of those vacations, and many holidays spent together. God bless the Kretzmeier family as they mourn the loss of their father and grandfather. May Harris rest in God's arms. Carrie Trout Johnson”
