He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Wood and Maud Wood (Branum); his siblings, Faye Wood Allen (Algenon), Barbara Wood Phelps (Jeff) and Mack Wood; his uncle Hosie; and his pet Joe Lewis.
He is survived by: his daughters, Robin Brown of Brewton, AL and Rachel Wood of East Brewton, AL; his grandson Jackson Perry of Brewton, AL.; his niece Janet Lane Foster; and his nephews, Russ Wood and William Allen.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jack's name may be given to The Indiana American Legion Foundation.
