He was predeceased by: his parents, William Harshman and Geneva Harshman (Humes). He is survived by: his stepsons, Paul Joseph Beets (Bri) and Scott Edward Beets (Janara); and his sisters, Lois Johnston, Joanna Rainwater and Dora Malm (GW). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
