With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Louella Kaye McCarty of West Lafayette, Indiana, born in Boswell, Indiana, who passed away on May 24, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Wilson and Pinnie Wilson (Farrar); her husband Brice Herman McCarty Jr.; her daughter Dana Braden; and her siblings, Marion Zink, Leta Jenkins, Darlene Wilson, Charlene Smith, Sam Wilson and Clarence Wilson.

She is survived by : her children, Pinnie Wallace (Shannon) of West Lafayette, Darla Hanson of Hampton, VA and Brice McCarty of Hampton, VA; and her siblings, Leo Wilson of Lafayette, Charles Wilson (Brenda) of West Lafayette, Loretta Follick (Bernard) of Missouri, Shirley Wilson of Paducah, KY, Debbie Kehrberg (Carl) of Alexandria, MN, Joyce Musk of Alabama, Rhonda Wilson of West Lafayette and Sheila Wilson of West Lafayette. She is also survived by six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
