Paul R. Bien Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Bien and Marion Bien; and his brother Robert Bien. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth (Betty); his children, Susan Mettel (Bill Dunmire) of Sacramento, CA, Jim Bien (Cadi) of Carmel, IN, Julie Manning (Peter) of Lake Bluff, IL, Cathy Archambault (Keith) of Bellingham, WA and Dan Bien (Carey) of Lake Geneva, WI; his grandchildren, Jeff Mettel, Kathleen Mettel, Madeleine Balkonis, Abby Bien, Tommy Bien, Megan Manning, Anna Manning, Zach Archambault, Emily Archambault, AJ Calamia, Cal Calamia, Libby Bien, Charlie Bien and Yazzie Winston; his great grandchildren, Gabriel Mettel and Adelaide Balkonis; and his siblings, Gail Young and Richard Bien. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Center (535 W State St, West Lafayette, IN 47906). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
