She is survived by: her children, Mary Breitbach of Charles City, IA, Mike Welch (Julie) of Burlington, WA, Alison Vierk of West Lafayette, IN, Kris Meyer of Knoxville, TN, Eric Welch (Cindy) of Lakeville, MN and Sharon Welch (Susan McDowell) of Lexington, KY.; and her sister Penny Schroeder (Don) of Davenport, IA.. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren.
