He was predeceased by: his parents, William Harvey Higginbotham and Jeanetta Jane Scamihorn Higginbotham. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Creasey Higginbotham; his children, Chastity Bedwell (Billy), Christopher Higginbotham, Jr. and Latisha Minor (Mark); his grandchildren, Levi Bedwell (Danielle), Donnie Snow, Andy Matherly, Lexi Matherly, Isaiah Minor and Gabriel Minor; his siblings, Jane Tarwater (Rick), Andy Higginbotham (Mona), Bob Higginbotham (Diane), Cathy Loudermilk (Gary) and Lelah Higginbotham; his aunt Norma Higginbotham; and his stepfather Michael Mayfield. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the West Side Christian Church (126 N 8th St, West Terre Haute, IN 47885).
In lieu of flowers, monetary donations can be made to his wife Tammy to help offset medical expenses through a trust established at First Financial Bank, in his memory.
