He is survived by: his children, Tonia Lee (Nik), Angie Padgett (Kenny), Michael Higginbotham (Kristy) and Danny Higginbotham (Becka); his grandchildren, Chuck Stranahan III, Savannah Lee, Britny Delp, Ashly Wells, Jabin McCarty, Shelbe Litton, Mika Higginbotham, Carlie Trayes, Jarakah Padgett, Kylie Higginbotham, Kennah Padgett and Brianna Higginbotham; and his brothers, Ken Higginbotham (Linda), Albert Higginbotham (Sadie) and Joe Higginbotham (Debbie). He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
