He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Arthur Dean and Goldie Eva Yates Dean; and his son Johnnie Dean. He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Cottom (James), James Dean (Marian), Jerry Dean (Diane), Connie Hayes, Charlotte Myers (Jeff) and Lisa Dean. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
