He was predeceased by : his parents, Arley Ross and Ruby Arthur (Fesmire). He is survived by : his siblings, Carl Arthur (Lillian) of Costa Rica, Paul Arthur, Patty Elger (Noel "Curly" Elger), Elizabeth Burton (Phil Burton), Joan A. Perkins (Ron Perkins), Carol Henderson (Richard Henderson) and Marietta Pesel (Harry Pesel); his nieces, Nancy Burton Gay and Glenna Henderson Roudebush; his nephew Mitchel Carl Henderson; and his close friend Carolyn Veach.

Throughout Bud's life he faithfully donated to numerous charitable organizations. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be presented to Compassus Hospice, Wheeler Mission, Sheridan's Biddle Park, the American Cancer Society, or to the charity of your choice.
