She is survived by: her husband Malcolm "Mac" Koontz; her children, Brent Koontz and Karoline Sandstrom; her daughter-in-law Vikki Koontz; her grandchildren, Kendra, Leanna, Kiel, Allison and Lillian; her great grandchildren, Grant, Jack and Sam; her sister Tina Morris (Scott); her brother-in-law Stanley Koontz; her nieces, Shannon and Amanda Morris; her great-niece Adrianna; and her great-nephew Dominik.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Leppert Mortuary-Carmel Chapel (900 N Rangeline Rd, Carmel, IN 46032). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
