Sylvia Foster Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Sylvia Foster (Westfield, Indiana) is shared. Sylvia, born on January 22, 1932, passed away on September 25, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sylvia Foster to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearl Eisenstein and Harry Eisenstein; and her husband Herman. She is survived by: her children, Ellen Foster Curtis (Dave Curtis), Rhea McDonald (John), Robert Foster (Cindy) and David Foster (Bonnie); her siblings, Melvin Eisenstein (Rita) and Barbara Chiarello (Richard); her grandchildren, Brian Curtis (Allison), Greg Curtis (Amanda), Daniel McDonald (Tammy Mitchell), Ryan McDonald (Michelle), Kevin McDonald (Lily), Rachel Foster, Michael Foster, Andrew Foster, Molly Foster and Allison Foster; and her great grandchildren, Levi McDonald, Oliver McDonald, Frederick McDonald, Louis McDonald and Oliver Curtis. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Aaron Ruben Nelson Mortuary (11411 N Michigan Rd, Zionsville, IN 46077). A graveside service was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Indianapolis Hebrew Cemetery North (1300 E 161st St, Westfield, IN 46074).
