He was predeceased by : his parents, Clinton Henry and Maxine Dwigans (Ayres); his wife Edith Dwigans (Blankenship); his children, Chris Dwigans and Lisa Gay Dwigans; and his sister Connie Wann.

He is survived by : his sons, Don Dwigans (Susan) and Mike Dwigans (Nancy); and his siblings, Irene Dwigans, Mark Dwigans and Marcia Sledge. He is also survived by six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
