He was predeceased by: his parents, Ace Runyon Sr. and Hattie Runyon (Bellamy); and his siblings, Ralph, Richard, Ace Runyon Jr., Amelia Wiley, Louise Reffitt, Catherine Sarks, Bertha Huff and Augusta Marcum.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Delhagen; his children, Douglas Earl Runyon (Mary Miller) of North Vernon and Susan Gatewood (Kenny) of Westport; his sister Barbara Young of Shirley; his grandchildren, Aaron Nugent (Leah) of Westport, Amber Pack (Kevin) of Westport, Gus Runyon (Brianna) of Vernon and Corina Runyon (Derrick Lunsford) of Greensburg; and his great grandchildren, Cole Nugent of Westport, Corey Nugent of Westport and Noah Nugent of Westport.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home in honor of Delbert to the North Vernon Church of the Nazarene.
