With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Samuel Cann of Westport, Indiana, who passed away on March 1, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid George Samuel farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For George Samuel is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Cann and Marjorie Ellen Cann (Small); his wife Donna J. Wiley; and his sisters, Mary G. Hampton and Lucinda "Rosie" Armand.
He is survived by: his daughters, Beth Pigmon (Art) of Westport and Jill Guenthenspberger (Gary) of Hartsville; and his sister Ruth Clarkson (Gene) of Westport. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
