He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Hampton and Callie Hampton (Gilley); his wife Frances A. Sturgill; and his brothers, Emery Hampton, Arvis Hampton, Telmage Clem, Sr. and Orell Hampton.

He is survived by: his son Todd Hampton (Melody) of Westport; his sisters-in-law, Wilma Hampton of Westport and Mary Hampton of Westport; and his grandchildren, Justin, Todd Jr., Gwyn, Deliah and Ladd.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Westport Volunteer Fire Department or Our Hospice through the funeral home.
