She was predeceased by: her parents, Ambrose Gerth and Viola Gerth (Large); her husband James A. Welch; her son David Allen Welch; and her siblings, Geneva Gerth, Glenn Gerth, Larry Gerth, Omer Gerth and Martin Gerth.
She is survived by: her son Michael J. Welch of Westport; her sisters, Delores Walters (Mike) of Columbus and Carolyn Chase (Terry) of Henderson; and her granddaughter Jamie K. Frensemeier (Patrick W.) of Columbus.
