It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Wayne Eckels of Westport, Indiana, born in Lorain, Ohio, who passed away on April 22, 2022, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Wayne and Bettie Jean Eckels (Lieman); and his siblings, Cinda Lu Lewis and John William Eckels. He is survived by: his children, Samantha Healy of Billings, Montana and Schuyler Michael Eckels of Indianapolis; and his siblings, Paula Eckels of North Vernon and Richard Stephen Eckels of Kannapolis. He is also survived by his 3 grandchildren.
