She was predeceased by: her parents, Rafael Mendoza and Petra Mendoza (Cantu); her husband Jose Silva Jr.; her grandson Ricardo Silva Jr.; her great grandchild Rocky McFarlin; and her siblings, Francisco, Rafael, Arnoldo, Benjamin, Ismael, Eva, Ercilia and Maria.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Silva (Lola), Nelida Smar (Tim), Ricardo Silva (Betty) and Julie Voigt (Rob); and her brothers, Adalberto and Cayetano. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren.
