She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Prince and Marie Prince (Fase). She is survived by: her husband Frank Heemstra; her children, Rich Heemstra (Tabby) of Rensselaer and Jill DeBruin (Scott) of Denton, Texas.; her grandchildren, Bailey Bogaard (Tyler), Jon DeBruin, Christian DeBruin (Kyra), Devin Heemstra and Kara DeBruin; her great grandchild Noelle; and her siblings, Judy Piskule (Rudy), Ted Prince (Judy), Marie Eiter (Tom) and Gerritt Prince (Vickie). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
