We bid farewell to Garnet L. Wilgus of Wheatfield, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 12, 2026 at the age of 90. Garnet touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Hill and Thelma Hill (Tipton); and her husband Wayne Eli Wilgus. She is survived by: her children, Jenifer Barton (Jerry) of Wheatfield, Wayne A. Wilgus, Jane Mullins and Cheryl Wilgus of Valparaiso; her son-in-law Robert Garmon (Kathy); her grandchildren, Tara Wilgus, Stephanie Mullins of Valparaiso, Jason Garmon of Hamlet, IN and Ed Myers of Ft. Wayne; her great grandchildren, Madison and Jocelyn Garmon of Valparaiso; her daughters, Debra Myers, Kathy Garmon and Jill Wilgus; her son-in-law Bob Myers; and her grandson Arthur Myers.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bartholomew Funeral Home (102 Monroe St, Valparaiso, IN 46383). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial Donations may be made to Dunes Hospice in Garnet's name.
