It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Helton of Wheatfield, Indiana, born in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, who passed away on June 21, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anderson Helton and Laudie Helton (Bailey); his former wife Ruth Helton (Wireman); and his daughter Connie Davis. He is survived by: his wife Gracie; his sons, Rick Helton (Rhonda) and Scott Helton (Debbie); and his stepson Mike Meyers. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials are requested for the Faith Pentecostal Church of God Youth Fund.
