He was predeceased by: his father William Alexander Potts; and his stepfather Lee Gopp. He is survived by: his mother Sandra Jean Gopp (Weidenhof); his sisters, Tammy Renner (Terry), Paula Pogue (Greg), Stacy Potts and Marlo'Toby'Gopp; and his siblings' children, Ashley Grace, Alex Prock, Lucas Seibring and Harrison Pogue.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home (1977 S State Rd 135, Greenwood, IN 46143). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Forest Lawn Memory Gardens (1977 S State Rd 135, Greenwood, IN 46143).
For those choosing to make a memorial contribution in Chris's memory, the family has suggested those be offered to the Johnson County Humane Society.
