With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Eugene Baker of Whiteland, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 5, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd E. Baker and Mary Leota Baker (Borders); and his siblings, Francis, Edward, Allen, Earl Baker, Evelyn Miller, Judy Ramsey, Maggie Lapack, Ann Ferrell and Ywanna Bridges.
He is survived by: his wife June Baker of Whiteland; his children, Julia Benefiel (Kevin) of Westfield, Jeannie Beisel (Bruce) of Rossville, Terry Baker (Kelly) of Indianapolis, Kimberly Dunbar (Dave) of Franklin and Douglas Baker of Wanamaker; his grandchildren, Ty Benefiel (Leticia), Brock Benefiel, Cody Benefiel, Grant Benefiel, Bryce Baker, Travis Beisel (Keri), Joelle Brenia (John), Taylor Dunbar and Cole Dunbar (Libby); and his siblings, Carroll Baker (Kakes) of New Jersey and Shirley Cox (Don) of Franklin. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
