With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernadine Kontrik of Whiting, Indiana, who passed away on November 29, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John J. Kontrik, Sr.; her siblings, Helen Hmirek and Joseph Klen; and her parents, John Klen and Helen Klen.
She is survived by: her sons, John Kontrik, Jr. (Pam) and James Kontrik (Anita); and her grandchildren, John Paul (Julie), Tiffany (John), Stevie and Sarah.
