He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his sons, Michael Jancosek (Kimberly) and David Jancosek; his grandchildren, Jordan Wishart (Jake) and Jessica Smith (Luke); his great grandchildren, Eloise Wishart and Summer Smith; his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Clark (late Carl), Richard Kauchak and David Burosh; his close friend Dorothy; and his siblings, John Jancosek, Jr., Margaret Gabor (late Martin), Helen Zabrecky (late Steve), Ann Marie Kaminsky (late Richard), Mary Jane Lukas (late Art), Irene Jancosek, Judith Kauchak, Bernadette Burosh and Paul Jancosek (late Annie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Baran Funeral Home (1235 119th St, Whiting, IN 46394). A wake will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (1849 Lincoln Ave, Whiting, IN 46394).
