He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Vale and Dorothy Vale (Shelton). He is survived by: his children, Paul Vale (Susie), Michael Vale (Kimberly), Sheri Smith (Shane) and Carrie Vale; his grandchildren, Mathew Smith (Chelsea), Brock Vale (Jen), Chelsie Gieseking (Syd), Meryc Janek (Natalie), Makenzie Boyd (Rick), Jacob Janek, Madisyn Smith, Luke Janek, Cade Vale, Breckin Vale and Graysen Vale; his sister Janice Vale; and his wife Helga Anna Schuh. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
