It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mason Markovich (Whiting, Indiana), who passed away on August 21, 2025, at the age of 30, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mason Markovich to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, John, Helen Markovich, James Bayus and Marilyn "Grandma Toledo" Tweeddale; his great-grandparent Mary Bayus; and his uncle Michael J. Markovich.
He is survived by: his parents, Matthew Markovich and Annette Markovich; his siblings, Michael (Janice Mitchell) and Marisa Dicker (Daniel); his nephews, Jonah Marko and Jacob Nolan; his grandparents, Linda Bayus and Thomas Tweeddale (Sue); his uncle Mark Dobrowski; and his aunt Mary Therese Burke. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family will be donated to the Whiting High School Science Olympiad with the goal of creating a scholarship in Mason's honor.
