With solemn reverence, we commemorate Michael Berkley of Whiting, Indiana, whose life came to an end on July 30, 2025 at the age of 74, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Berkley (Bonnie Berkley) and Clara Berkley; and his siblings, Bill, Shirley, Violet and Joseph.
He is survived by: his children, Evie Berkley-Rimkus, Michael "Bo" and Michelle Saksa; his grandchildren, Safire Beach (Ryan), Lexie Saksa, Heather Tyrka, Michael Saksa and Dylan Rimkus; his great grandchildren, Alannia, Penelope, Elliot and Shella; his pet Daisy; and his sister Phyllis Grawberg (Bob). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the LaHayne Funeral Home (6955 Southeastern Ave, Hammond, IN 46324). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
