With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Michael Dybel of Whiting, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As we bid Michael farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Michael is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his brother Larry Dybel. He is survived by: his daughter Louisa Hubda; his parents, Frank Dybel and Joanne Dybel (Banas); his sister Jacqueline Potter (Douglas); his nephew Kevin Dybel; and his niece Toni Dybel. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (1849 Lincoln Ave, Whiting, IN 46394). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
