She was predeceased by: her husband Paul J. Novotny, Sr.; her stepson Gary Novotny; her brother Samuel Skrabak; and her parents, Samuel Skrabak and Sophie Skrabak.
She is survived by: her son John Vacendak (Sharon); her grandchildren, Nicole Bolinger (Cale) and Curtis Vacendak (Candice); her great grandchild Lennox Bolinger; her stepchildren, Paul Novotny (Sharon) and Merribeth Paunicka (Anthony); her sister Margaret Maicher (late Rudolph); and her nieces and nephews, Thomas Maicher (Judy) and Timothy Maicher (Jennifer).
