Rose Arendas Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rose Arendas of Whiting, Indiana, who passed away on June 23, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Steve Arendas; her son Daniel; her siblings, Agnes Kish, Eugene and Joseph Giorgio; and her parents, Pepino Giorgio and Maria Giorgio (Alfini).
She is survived by: her sons, Steve (Susan) and James (Annette); her grandchildren, Stephen (Jessica), Melissa Raabe (Adam), Angela, Anthony (Jamie), Andrew and Nathan; and her great grandchildren, Siena, Aria, Stephen Braxton and Shoshanna.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Assumption Byzantine Catholic Church (2011 Clark St, Whiting, IN 46394). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
