He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Nagy and Jean Nagy (Grace) of Catherine's Hospital; his son Jimmy; and his grandson Adler. He is survived by: his wife Grace Salazar; his daughters, Cathy Haluska (Kenny) and Stephanie Shelbourne (Ryan Brown); his grandchildren, Kenneth Haluska (Tannes), Jakob Haluska (Wiphada), Abigale Haluska, Camden Shelbourne and Gracen Brown; his great grandchildren, Ira and Odin Haluska; his siblings, Sharon Moynihan (Jerry) and Michael Nagy (Karen); and his pet Chuey. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center (8941 Kleinman Rd, Highland, IN 46322). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In Lieu of flowers, donations in Steve's name can be made to Riley Children's Hospital In memory of Adler Shelbourne for brain tumor research or to the William J. Riley Memorial Residence-Hospice of the Calumet area.
