He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Janet P. Plawecki (Valocik); his nieces and nephews, Eric and Harley Plawecki; his mother-in-law Alice Comstock; his siblings-in-law, John Valocik (Jane) and Jill Smith (Tom); his brothers, Joseph and Ted Plawecki; and his parents, Joseph Plawecki and Wanda Plawecki.
