He was predeceased by : his father Albert Howard; and his siblings, Mark, Linda, David and Wanda.

He is survived by : his children, Dion Coomer and Jennifer "Pooh" Coomer; his stepchildren, Rob, Tim, April and Crystal; his daughter-in-law Donna Coomer; his grandchildren, Zacharie, Casie and Nevaeh; and his sisters, Carol, Gail and Debbie. He is also survived by several step grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
