Hazel Ruth Smith Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Ruth Smith of Wilkinson, Indiana, born in Mount Orab, Ohio, who passed away on January 30, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Jerald Smith; her parents, Elmer Smith and Elsie Smith (Page); her brothers, Bob Smith and Homer Smith; her son-in-law Dick Marine; and her stepson Gary Smith.

She is survived by : her children, Ruth Jordan House of Willow Branch, Donnie Jordan (Judy) of Wilkinson and Pamela Jordan Marine of Arlington; her grandchildren, Jacqueline Parke of Wilkinson, Rusty Parke (Lisa) of Wilkinson, Bryon Jordan (Jennifer) of Markleville, Jeremiah Gabbard of Willow Branch and Noah Gabbard of Shelbyville; her great grandchildren, Caitlin Hutchens (Zack) of New Castle, Tabitha Davis (Jerod) of Knightstown, Miranda Ramage (Jake) of Shirley, Bryce Jordan of Markleville and Brady Jordan of Markleville; her stepchildren, Larry Smith, Jerry Smith, Anita Florea, Tina Tutrow and Senita Smith; her sisters, Grace Ebbert of Carthage and Martha Fry of Greenfield; her sisters-in-law, Ellen Smith of Markleville and Connie Smith of Tennessee; her close friend Carolyn Wilson of Shirley; and her sister-in-law Phyllis Hedrick of Shirley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and several cousins.
