Melinda Carender Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of Melinda Carender of Williamsburg, Indiana is shared. Melinda, born on July 12, 1953, passed away on September 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Melinda will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Melinda by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Melinda is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Melinda’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwood Menzo and Marjorie Louise Mahler Osborne; and her son Chad Haskell. She is survived by: her husband Alan L. Carender; her sons, Paul Haskell and Tim Henning; her stepchildren, Shane Carender, Jedediah Carender, Sharon Carender and Ashley Hart (Brian); and her sisters, Melanie, Renae and Marsha. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Smith-McQuiston & Webster Funeral Home (321 US Hwy 27, Fountain City, IN 47341).
