With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Arnold Overbey of Williamsport, Indiana, born in London, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 3, 2026 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Overbey and Bertha Overbey (Mullins); and his siblings, Clifford Overbey, Pauline Owens, Zoe Wells, Carl Overbey, Zola Mae Gregory and Harley.

He is survived by: his wife Elaine Bennett; his daughters, Danita Spain (Bobby) of St. Louis, Missouri, Kathy McMurtrie (Bill) of Attica, Indiana and Amy Overbey Moody of Johnson City, Tennessee.; and his grandchildren, Amanda Tolley (Brad) of St. Louis, Missouri, Clinton Spain of Oakland, California, Danielle Robledo (Sal) of Rensselaer, Indiana, Alyssa Goin (Robert Johnson) of Rensselaer, Indiana, Luke Goin (Annette) of Lebanon, Indiana, Jessi Eguia (Jason) of Oklahoma and Isaac Moody of Johnson City, Tennessee. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
