She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Nickles and Julia Nickles (Hubbard); her children, Billy and Molly Kerst; her grandson Robert Chance Ransom; and her siblings, William, James, Robert Landis and Donna Batchelor.
She is survived by: her husband William L. Kerst; her children, Wendy Ransom (Robert) of Williamsport, John "Wally" Kerst (Robin) of Williamsport and Willie Kerst (Tasha) of Williamsport; her sisters, Kathy Price (Portland Arch), Connie Sillery (Keith) of Thorntown, IN and Loretta Bryant (Melvin) of Strunk, KY; her grandchildren, Lacey Sturgeon (Jeremy), Kasey Pruitt (Nathan), Wally J. Kerst (Laiken), Autumn Madary, Alexis Brummett (Justin), Hunter Wilson (Drew), Mallory and Billy Kerst; and her great grandchildren, Trayson, Hollyn, Kiyah, Brycen, Gatlin, Ryatt, Dolly, Addyson, Avery, Alanna, Kaden, Gavin, Clara, Drake, Easton, Sage, Hazel and Wyatt.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Maus Funeral Home (704 S Council St, Attica, IN 47918). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Maus Funeral Home - Attica (704 S Council St, Attica, IN 47918). A burial will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at the Highland Cemetery (500 E 4th St, Williamsport, IN 47993).
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer CLL (Cancer, Lymphoma, Leukemia).
