Gary L. McKinney Obituary

We announce the death of Gary L. McKinney (Winamac, Indiana), who passed away on September 3, 2026, at the age of 71. Gary will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice McKinney and Margene McKinney (Benson). He is survived by: his brothers, Steven, Timothy and Kyle McKinney; his nieces, Molly and Brittany; his nephew Bryan; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Theo, Mary Kate, Amelia, Sloane, Scottie and Amy Stewart; and his stepdaughter Allister Moore.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Frain Mortuary (305 E Main St, Winamac, IN 46996). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Winamac Cemetery West Main (50 W Adams St, Winamac, IN 46996).
