She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Howard and Edna Howard (Allen); her husband Henry Minix; her daughter Sandra Sword; her siblings, Clifton, Fred Howard, Joyce Sallee, Carolyn Minix and Fafalene Jenkins; Wayne Howard.
She is survived by: her son Ronald Salyers of Bradner; her siblings, Roger Howard (Phyllis) of Michigan City and Sharon Baker (James) of Smithville; and her stepdaughter Sandra Jankosz (Chester) of North Judson, Indiana.. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Braman and Bailey Funeral Home (6020 S Oakwood Ave, North Judson, IN 46366). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
