James leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. James’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew James will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sr. Davis and Ethel Davis (Slattery). He is survived by: his wife Tabitha Archer; his children, Heather Sowers, Kimberly Vessels (Kenneth), Robert Davis (Georgette) and Crystal Davis; and his sister Lisa Vonville (Rick). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Boersma Funeral Home (90 E Grove St, Wheatfield, IN 46392).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to family.
