She was predeceased by: her parents, Edith Evelyn and Gaylen B Shaw; and her husbands, Robert Lowe and Roscoe Johnson. She is survived by: her children, Gaylen S Johnson, MD (Karen) of Shepherdstown, WV and Meredith Johnson Handakas (Gregory) of Richmond, VA; her stepdaughter Elizabeth Lowe of Beverly, MA; her grandchildren, Gaylen Johnson Jr., Emily Johnson, Grace Handakas, Nicholas Handakas and Samuel Frederick; and her sister Deborah Michael. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
