She was predeceased by : her mother Mildred Mae Horton (Garrett); her sons, James T. Long and Robert A. Long; her grandchild Pebbles Long; and her siblings, James Horton and Opal Lundy.

She is survived by : her husband Carlton Long; her children, Ronald Long (Jacqueline), David Long (Pamela), Cindy VanVoorhis and Belinda Long; her grandchildren, Naunie Reeves (Jerry), Conarlton Worland (Dietz), Dusta Hinkle, Carma Sheward (Jason), Tia Cox, Seth Long, Joseph Clark and Carlton Clark; and her siblings, Alline Curry, AJ Johnson and Emma Mae Waddle. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
