It is with sadness that the passing of Eva Mikels Hamilton (Wingate, Indiana) is shared. Eva, born on August 2, 1936, passed away on September 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Mikels and Ava Barnard Mikels; her husband Glenn Ray Hamilton; and her son Mark. She is survived by: her daughters, Wendy Sumner of West Point, Kristy Craig (Dean) of West Point and Tracy White (Tim) of Paradise, TX.; her grandchildren, Keith Lank (Becky), Cody Hamilton, Wren VanZant (Josh), Ellen Dery (Zach), Peter Craig, Jeneva Sumner (Brandon) and Sebastian White (Natalie); her great grandchildren, Elija Lank, Anna Lank and Elili VanZant; and her daughter-in-law Cindy Hamilton of Oxford.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 10:00 AM and from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the West Point United Methodist Church (4923 Monroe St, West Point, IN 47992).
Memorial contributions are preferred to the West Point United Methodist Church or Cadet Park.
