She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Hancock and Richard "Cappy" Hancock; her husband Curtis Smith; and her aunt Dorothy Dice. She is survived by: her sons, Patrick Smith (Amy) of Veedersburg and Chad Smith (Lara) of Pittsboro; her grandchildren, Caleb, Collin, Emory, Chandler, Everly Smith of Pittsboro, Dakota Smith and Allie Hart of Texas; and her daughter Marsha.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Family and Friends Funeral Home of Wingate (9700 Old State Rd 55 N, Wingate, IN 47994).
