It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Loran Edward Sims of Winona Lake, Indiana, born in Winamac, Indiana, who passed away on September 15, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Leon J. Sims; his son-in-law William "Rock" Wells; and his grandsons, William Wells II and Nicholas Phillips. He is survived by: his sons, Glory Jones, Tidings of Joy, Chain Gang and Sounds; his wife Linda Lee Sims (Winona Lake); his daughters, Saundra Kennedy (Warsaw), Beth Wells, Belinda Steggell and Barbara Sims; and his stepsons, Terry (Kathy), Larry Phillips (Deb), Gary (Bonnie), Jerry (Rachelle) and Kerry "Joe" (Sabrina). He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
