In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Rodney leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Rodney may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo George and Wilma Dixon (Evans). He is survived by: his wife Karen Sue Dixon; his children, Tonda Dixon, Debra Dixon-Weisheit (Byron "Kim" Weisheit) and Rodney "Chip" Dixon Jr. (Savannah); his stepchildren, Chastity Overbey, Jeremy Deffendoll (Jen) and Jason Deffendoll of Vincennes; and his siblings, Beverly Erickson (Jim) of Arizona, Michael Dixon (Janice) of Colorado, Dinah Walton (Steve) of Missouri and Mark Dixon (Jennifer) of Colorado. He is also survived by six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and by step grand/great-grandchildren.
