With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ervin W. Bellis of Woodburn, Indiana, who passed away on October 2, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Ervin departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Ervin may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Ervin leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marguerite Bellis (Zirkelbach) and Frederick Bellis; and his wife Margaret Bellis. He is survived by: his children, Jo Kline (Brian), Richard Bellis, Sr. (Teresa) and Laura Larry (Mike); and his sister Delores Clevenger (late Glen).
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Dooley Funeral Home (5761 OH-500, Payne, OH 45880). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
